I will dominate 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
